Hi, I’m Joe
I’m a singer, guitarist and songwriter with over 20 years’ experience performing live, from intimate venues and private events to theatres, festivals and national television. In 2021, I was a semi-finalist on ITV’s The Voice.
For weddings, I specialise in taking great songs and making them feel a little different.
Rather than simply trying to recreate the original recording with one voice and a guitar, I love stripping songs back and finding the heart of them. Sometimes that means turning a big pop song into something intimate and acoustic; sometimes it means putting a folk, blues or Americana twist on a familiar favourite.
The result is live music that feels relaxed, warm and personal rather than generic wedding entertainment.
I can provide music for your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast or evening, with a repertoire spanning classic songs, modern favourites, folk, indie, soul, rock and pop. And if there’s a particular song that means something to you, I can learn it and create an acoustic version especially for your wedding.
After more than two decades of performing, one of the things I’ve learned is that the best live music isn’t really about showing off. It’s about reading the room, knowing when a song should take centre stage and when it should simply become part of the atmosphere.
Whether I’m singing as you walk down the aisle or playing while everyone has a drink and catches up afterwards, or getting people up and dancing in the evening, my aim is simple: to help create moments that feel like your wedding, with music you genuinely love.
